I have been quilting for several years and now have this wonderful longarm, a APQS Millennium with stitch regulation, and 14 ft table which has hydraulic lift and an automatic take-up reel! This makes quilting such a fun and easy thing for me to do. I've caught up on all my quilt tops so fast that within a few weeks I'd done them all. I then worked on Charity quilts for my guilds and continued to make quilts of my own to use, give away and sell. Now I am able to free-motion quilt with such ease and this new Quilt Glide is wonderful for micro-stippling. The laser light is nice for following a pattern and yet I prefer to free quilt and follow the fabric as a guide to the quilting. By focusing on the task at hand, I am able to finish the quilts quickly and with the strong threads I've purchased from Superior Threads, it really makes the quilts stand out with lots of quilting. Yet the So Fine! threads by Superior Threads is such thin and strong thread, I can stitch right over the flower petals and leaves to not have thread build up and to emphasize the quilting and fabrics.
